Bryant Baby Farm

I love to watch Tori and Dean on Oxygen and they had a sign outside their bed and breakfast that said McDermott Baby Farm. I thought it was so cute and have wanted a sign like that for my house ever since. So I finally made one, with the help of my hubby!! I love the way it turned out. I go the inspiration from The Creative Crate. Check it out there are so many other cute ideas there!!

4 months old

At four months old you are probably the happiest baby I have ever seen! You wake up smiling and go to sleep smiling. You can roll over and are starting to really enjoy toys, eating your hands and watching you feet wiggle. You are such a joy and I love every moment with you!!

Soft Soled Baby shoes

I love soft soled baby shoes. I put my kids in them as long as I can. They are comfy for little, growing feet. I have tried all kinds my favorites are Pedipeds but those are better when baby starts walking. I recently came across leighi123.etsy.com . She makes handmade, soft soled shoes, they are inexpensive, cute and even have little non slip soles. She can make them in any color scheme and with any design on the top. I chose to have crowns put on Krews's because I love little prince themed things. They are well made and I couldn't be happier with them. If you need shoes for a little one go check our Leigh's shop!!

Cheap Dinner

My fellow blogger over at I Still Hate Pickles posted this awesome special and I thought I would share, and yes it really works I tried it!! Happy dining. Resturant.com is offering their 80% off special again. That's $2 for a $25 gift certificate for dining out at restaurants in your area. Check the site to see if they are in your area and what neat places you can try for a price that's criminal. The special code is PLATE.

You won't regret REGRETSY.com

My sister makes fun of my love of all things ETSY, she says its the worlds largest garage sale, I argue that the worlds largest garage sale is EBAY. This is an on going dispute between the two of us. So the other day she visited and brought me the above book. It as you can tell from the title features all the odd, weird and just totally wrong things people try to sell on ETSY. I must admit it is REALLY funny, though sometimes inappropriate. I would never have known any of this stuff was actually for sale, I mean who looks for felt placentas on ETSY?? They also have a website, go there, be prepared to laugh and be shocked! Below is the link to one of my favorite items!!!

A murder

My sister recently told me she learned on animal planet that a group of crows is called a murder. She and I decided that is what a group of boys should also be called!! So at my house I have a murder of boys!!

Baby Food

Lately I have been using a lot of the above to make a whole lot of baby food! I must admit I have never made my own baby food before but I love the idea of it! My dad has a garden and I love that I am using food grown free of pesticides, added sugars and preservatives as baby's first foods. He won't start eating these tasty foods for another few months, my babies are exclusively breastfed for at least six months, but all I've read says these puree's will keep for several months. I plan on making avocado and butternut squash his first foods but I have also made applesauce, pumpkin and sweet potato so far. I am just beginning to experiment with this and would love to hear from those of you who have done it, any ideas, tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated!

Baby Girl

Here are some new pictures of my "baby" girl!! She will be starting 8th grade next month, I can't believe it. THe first pic is her favorite, she calls it her "nerd face"!! I just love the way her eyes are different colors in the middle, they are so pretty, and so is she, inside and out. I love being her mother.

First Swim

Over the 4th we took Mr. Personality for his first swim! We wasn't so sure about it at first but he warmed up to it. Yesterday I took him again and this time with a heat index here of over 100 degrees, he really enjoyed it and kicked and smiled the whole time! Of course since I was swimming with him this time I didn't get any pictures.

Mothers are Divine

I am not Mormon but I saw this video on another blog and felt it was a great message to share with all mothers, Mormon or not. I hope you will watch it and really take in the message. Mothers, you may think your work is unnoticed or that it is not "real" work but the truth is there is no job anywhere that is more important or that makes a more lasting impact here or in the eyes of our Lord.

All the good ones are from Utah

So I was talking to a friend the other day and this subject came up. How come all the good bloggers are from Utah??? Ok not all of them but a lot of them. And is EVERY Mormon a fun, creative, crafty, well spoken person??? Just things I ponder as I blog hop. I mean really I read a lot of blogs, I blog hop a lot, probably more than a person should and it never fails that the blogs I love are 9 times out of 10 written by Mormons and/or people from Utah!! Not that it's a bad thing I'm just wondering where the other states/ religions are?
