Yesterday was Sunshine and Buttercups first day at their new schools. They both did exceedingly well. I on the other hand was a nervous wreck all day. The new school meant big changes for Sunshine who went from half day kindergarten to full day and also experienced his fist bus ride. He was thrilled by both changes and woke up early this morning ready to ride the bus to school and eat breakfast there. He is loving eating "like a big kid" in the cafeteria and going to p.e, art and computer lab. He is as you can tell from the picture missing his nap a little and fell fast asleep today when he got home. I am so feel so much better now that I know they are both settling in well. Buttercup is adjusting well also and that is the best news, as I was worried about her changing schools at such an awkward time in her life. Lets face it 7th grade is bad enough without the added stress of moving. Luckily for her (and me) she is not like me and adjusts easily to change and makes friends well. So for now all is well here. We are settling in to our new routines and environment, the boxes are dwindling, it is starting to feel like home, and my darling hubby got the t.v. working in time for the much awaited Grey's Anatomy season premiere tonight!!
